What this is. The agreement required by §4.4 of the Snowflake Provider and Consumer Terms, which a provider must have in place with the consumer before any transaction — with no exemption for free listings.
Language. English is the operative version. These terms are attached to listings on an international marketplace, and the consumer needs to be able to read them. A Portuguese translation may be provided for convenience; where the two differ, this version governs.
Not legal advice. This is drafted from a reading of the Snowflake Provider and Consumer Terms (version of 2026-03-31) and of the CC BY 4.0 licence. Where money or a signed contract is involved, have a lawyer confirm it.
Governing law, deliberately not elected. §4.4 requires two clauses, and a choice of law is not one of them — omitting it breaks nothing. The provider is established in Brazil today and a Portuguese entity is planned for 2027; electing Brazilian law now would force a version bump within the year, and everyone who accepted the old version would stay on it. §9 states the establishment as fact instead. Revisit when the Portuguese entity exists.
1. Agreement between you and us
These Listing Terms form an agreement between you (the consumer) and Insigne Tech only. Snowflake Inc. is not a party to this agreement.
Insigne Tech is solely responsible for the data products listed under its provider profile, including their content, accuracy, reliability, availability and support, and for its obligations under these terms. Snowflake bears no responsibility for any of the foregoing.
By accessing or installing any data product listed by Insigne Tech, you accept these terms.
2. What you are getting
Each listing publishes derived data: public open data from official sources, reprocessed into a documented, tested and versioned form.
We do not resell the underlying sources. What we add is the engineering — reconciliation across time, normalisation, provenance tracking, and testing. The sources remain freely available from the issuing authorities, and every listing names them.
3. Licence
We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt and redistribute the data products, including for commercial purposes.
This licence is subject to the attribution obligations of the upstream sources, which pass through to you. Our source data is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), which requires attribution in the form the licensor designates. Those forms are not interchangeable, and some are prescribed literally.
Each listing includes a _METADATA table with an attribution column carrying the exact text required by each source. Reproduce it verbatim. Naming the institution in your own words does not satisfy the licence where the licensor has designated a specific form.
You are responsible for your own compliance with these attribution obligations in anything you publish or distribute.
4. No warranty
The data products are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Specifically, and without limiting the above, we do not warrant that:
- the data is free of errors, whether ours or inherited from the sources;
- the data is complete, or covers any particular territory, period or entity;
- the data will remain available, or will continue to be published at all;
- any structure, column, code or identifier will remain stable between versions;
- the data is suitable for any regulatory, legal, financial or safety-critical purpose.
Each listing declares its known limitations, measured and stated rather than hidden. Read them. They are part of what you are agreeing to, and a limitation that is disclosed is not a defect.
5. Not a service
These are datasets, not a service with a service level. There is no uptime commitment, no guaranteed refresh cadence, and no support response time.
Publication frequency stated in a listing is an intention, based on when the source authority typically publishes, and is not a commitment. Source authorities change their schedules, formats and licensing without notice to us.
6. Support
We maintain these listings actively, and a reported error is more useful to us than an error nobody found.
Support means: you may write to hi@insigne.tech, and we will be reasonably available on a regular basis to respond. Please tell us which table, which row, and what you expected. Confirmed errors are corrected, and corrections are published.
Support does not include custom extraction, bespoke transformation, integration work, consulting, or any commitment to implement a requested change.
7. Changes and withdrawal
We may correct, restructure, version or withdraw a data product at any time.
Material changes to published data raise the dataset version and are recorded in a changelog. Where a change breaks an existing structure, we will say so in the changelog rather than change it silently.
Withdrawal of a listing follows the notice period set out in the Snowflake Documentation, as required by §4.6 of the Snowflake Provider and Consumer Terms.
If you build a time series on one of our crosswalks, subscribe to the changelog. It is the only way to know when the ground moves.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Insigne Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the data products — even if advised of the possibility.
These products are published free of charge. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed one hundred euros (EUR 100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Establishment
Insigne Tech Solutions is established in Brazil (CNPJ 50.833.640/0001-50).
These terms do not elect a governing law or forum. Where no choice is made, the applicable law is determined by the conflict-of-law rules that apply to the parties. Nothing in these terms affects mandatory protections available to you under the law of your own country of residence or establishment.
A Portuguese entity is planned. If it becomes the contracting party, these terms will be updated and the change recorded in the changelog described in §7.
